History

Located in the valley of the Senne River, the centre of European culture and institutions, the city of Brussels has a lot to offer when visiting. Home to the administrative capital of the European Union, Brussels is a proud platform, which showcases multiculturalism within Europe. As well as multiculturalism, Brussels is home to The Grand Palace. The square is surrounded by the guild houses, the City Hall and the Maison du Roi and has been previously registered on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, making it a truly cultural and historical city.
